Portal Overview
The portal is the public face of a SupDesk project — the site your end users visit to report problems, request features, follow your roadmap, and talk to your team. It lives on your project’s supdesk.app subdomain, or on your own domain if you’ve configured one (see Project Settings).
What users can do
- Browse the board. All public posts — bugs, feature requests, and feedback — with their current status: Open, Planned, In progress, or Done. Status is set by your team on the console feedback board, so the portal doubles as a lightweight public roadmap.
- Submit feedback. A form for reporting a bug, requesting a feature, or leaving general feedback. Users identify themselves with an email address; no account creation is required. See Submitting Feedback.
- Vote and comment. Users upvote posts they care about and discuss them in comments. See Voting & Comments.
- Search the help center. Self-serve articles answering common questions, searchable and grouped into categories — often faster than waiting for a reply. See Help Center.
- Read the changelog. Published release notes, newest first, with an RSS feed for subscribers. See Changelog.
- Message your team. A private 1:1 thread with your team, continued over email — users can reply straight from their inbox. See Messages.
Branding and language
The portal carries your project’s name and logo. Portals are multilingual: content your team provides in multiple locales (like translated changelog entries) is shown in the visitor’s language when available.
For your team
Everything a user does on the portal shows up in the console: submissions land on the feedback board, the user appears in Customers, and portal messages arrive in Messages.
